Toyota Vios Car

The Toyota Vios Introduced in 2003 is a 4-door subcompact sedan developed for the South East Asia and China markets. The Vios serves as a replacement of the Toyota Soluna which filled the Asian subcompact market for a 1.5 litre, below the Toyota Corolla and Toyota Camry, both of which are also marketed in the region. The Vios is marketed alongside the Toyota Yaris in most countries in South East Asia, which offered another option for a hatchback, when it officially entered the region's market in 2005. In the United States, the second generation Vios is known as the Toyota Belta or the Toyota Yaris hatchback.

The new Vios is essentially a re-badged Toyota Belta sedan, which launched in November 2005. The model code for cars with 1.5 liter 1NZ-FE engines is NCP93. The engine is only available where the Vios is marketed, including the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei and Thailand. As was the first generation Vios, the second generation Vios is assembled at Thailand's Toyota Gateway Plant and also at the Philippines Santa Rosa, Laguna Plant. In the United States, Canada and Australia it is marketed as the Yaris Sedan, replacing the Echo sedan, with production sourced from Japan.

The 2008 Vios has the tagline "My Design, My Pride" and currently has 4 grades: the base 1.3 J, with almost the same specs as to that of the J grade of the 2003 Vios, only that it had a 14" steel wheel with wheel cover, an all-new central analogue display, vinyl shift lever and knob, manual locks and windows and fabric seats. It is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.3 E is the same as the J grade, only that it has 14" alloy wheels, Toyota Vehicle Security System, and driver-side SRS airbags. The 1.5 G has 3 options: G 4 A/T leather, G 4 A/T or G 5 M/T. It has a 1.5 1NZ-FE engine, leather seats for the leather sub-variant, 4-speed automatic transmission, 5-manual transmission and 2 SRS airbags. The 1.5 S Limited XX Edition was released in July 2008, and has almost no difference with that of the G variant, only that it had an electronic driver-side SRS airbags, front, side, and rear skirt and a spoiler. It still has the same wheel size, but the S grade has 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Toyota Tundra Car

The Toyota Tundra prototypes introduced in May 1999 as a 2000 model, initially known as T150s. The Toyota Tundra is a full-size pickup truck sold by Toyota that originally went into production in 1999 (as a 2000 year model). The Tundra was built with an American look and feel and ultimately had something the T100 never did, a V8 engine option. The Tundra is assembled in Princeton, Indiana while the latest Tundra is assembled in San Antonio, Texas as well.

The first generation Tundra had many similarities with the old Toyota T100 and the smaller, more popular Toyota Tacoma. The biggest of those similarities was the shared use of a 3.4-liter V6 engine which was the top of the line engine in both the Tacoma and T100. These engines would serve as the base engine for the Tundra, while a second engine 4.7-liter V8 was added.

Toyota began selling a bolt-on supercharger kit for the 5.7-liter V8 Tundra during June 2008. Power output is increased to 504 hp (376 kW) and 550 pound-feet (750 N·m) of torque. When the installation is carried out by a Toyota dealership the existing warranty remains intact. This kit features Eaton's Twin Vortices Series supercharger which utilizes twin four-lobe rotors, a design shared with the newly introduced C6 ZR1 and CTS-V.

Hyundai Genesis Sedan Car

Hyundai Genesis Concept sedan car introduced in March, 2007 was designed by Hyundai as a "progressive interpretation of the modern rear-wheel drive sports sedan". Hyundai conceived the idea for the Genesis in 2003. The body design took three years and the total cost of the program was $500 million over a development period of 23 months. Reliability testing ran for 800,000 miles.

The Hyundai Genesis V6 model has a starting price of $33,000, while the V8 model starts at US $38,000, including destination charge. According to Hyundai Motor America's current Genesis website, the US engines are projected to 290, and 375 hp for the 3.8L V6, and the 4.6L V8 respectively. Power in the 4.6L V8 drops to 368 hp when regular unleaded fuel is used. (As of April, the 3.3L V6 264 hp lineup has been dropped from coming into the United States. So there will be only two cars in the summer of 2008, and they are 3.8L V6 with 290 hp and 4.6L V8 with 375 hp).

The Genesis has received a number of well-recognized automobile awards worldwide. Most notably, the Genesis has been named 2009 North American Car of the Year, the first for Hyundai. It also won the 2009 Canadian Car of the Year (Best New Luxury Car under $50,000). The Hyundai's V8 Tau engine in the Genesis, which develops 375hp on premium fuel and 368hp on regular fuel, received 2009 Ward's 10 Best Engines award.

Subaru Baja

The Subaru Baja is basically an Outback wagon with an open rear cargo bed. Outbacks and Baja have a raised suspension and SUV-flavored styling, but all these vehicles share a basic 4-dr design with standard all-wheel drive and horizontally opposed engines. Four-cylinder models come with manual transmission or optional automatic. A 6-cyl engine powers Outback H6 and VDC sedans, and H6 35th Anniversary, L.L. Bean, and VDC wagons. Exclusive to Baja is a new Turbo model with a turbocharged engine that boosts horsepower to 210, 45 more than the standard 4 cyl. Outbacks except the base and H6 35th Anniversary wagons. Baja is 6 inches longer overall than the Outback wagon, seats four instead of five, and comes with a bedliner. The wall separating cargo bed from cabin has a panel that folds to create a pass-through beneath the fixed rear window. Roof lights and a bed-extender cage are options.


The Subaru Baja was a light-utility, all-wheel-drive, four passenger, four-door crossover manufactured from 2003-2006 by Subaru. The Baja combined the handling and passenger carrying characteristics of a car with the open-bed versatility, and to a lesser degree, load capacity of a pickup truck. The unibody design borrowed heavily from existing mechanicals, platform and sheetmetal of the Legacy and Outback wagons. Production began on July 18, 2002 as a 2003 model at the Lafayette, Indiana, factory (Subaru of Indiana Automotive, Inc., aka SIA) once shared with Isuzu.

The Baja's concept recalls many similar car-based, open-bed vehicles:
* Subaru's earlier BRAT four-wheel-drive, unibody pickup marketed in the US from 1978-1987)
* Other small US-marketed unibody pickups: Volkswagen Caddy, Dodge Rampage/Plymouth Scamp
* The prominent US rear-wheel drive Ford Ranchero and Chevy El Camino
* the two and four-door vehicles of Australia, known as Utes
* much earlier American car-based pickup truck known as Coupe Utilities.

The Baja is named after Mexico's Baja California peninsula – home to the Baja 1000 off-road race.

Toyota Avanza

Toyota Avanza is mini MPV produced in Indonesia and also assembled in Malaysia, with supervision from Toyota, who also sell the car under their Daihatsu brand. The car was launched at the Gaikindo Auto Expo in 2003 and sold over 100,000 units that year. The name "Avanza" was taken from the Italian word avanzato, which means "advance".

The Avanza is a new model develop as low premier MPV to split Toyota Kijang/Toyota Unser to 2 different models, another new model is the Toyota Innova which is higher spec and aimed at a higher market. Toyota Avanza is sold in Indonesia, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, South Africa and Mexico.

The Avanza was restyled near the end of the third quarter of 2006 with a new grille, new bumpers, a new interior, and new front and rear lamps. The 2006 model New Avanza S also has a new engine, a 1.5-litre 16-valve DOHC VVT-i gasoline engine (similar to the Toyota Rush) along with the new ABS braking system.

Subaru Outback

The Subaru Outback is mounted on the same platform as the Subaru Legacy station wagon, we'll talk about later on, but unlike the family in a rather more robust appearance. Our protagonist has the bumpers and wheel arches much wider, rails on the roof, the capo more arched, side shields and, in some versions, Duotone body. On the outside highlights the dual exhaust outlet in parallel in this range in the Subaru Outback as the Subaru Legacy, which further underscores its athletic character. The Hyundai Azera is a mid-size/full-size sedan manufactured and marketed globally by Hyundai Motor Company since model year 1986. The Azera has evolved through four generations with intermediate restylings, and is marketed under various nameplates worldwide. The "New Azera" came in various trim levels and 4 engine variations (4-cylinder 2.0L and three V6 engines (2.5L, 3L, and 3.5L). The Korea based Hyundai's Azera became a huge success following the first generation Azera it replaced. However, the same model Mitsubishi marketed in Japan was perfunctory eventually leading Mitsubishi to end the product earlier than expected.

The Azera had been the top Hyundai model outside of Korea, China, and the Middle East — until the 2008 introduction of the Genesis. The Azera has a four-wheel independent suspension (multi-link in the rear) and uses the company's new 3.8 L Lambda V6, which produces 265 hp (196 kW). The power is sent to the front wheels through a Six-speed automatic transmission with a "Shiftronic" manual gear selection. Hyundai claims 6.0 s to accelerate to 60 mph (97 km/h) and a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). Fuel economy of 19 mpg (12.4 L/100 km) in the city and 28 mpg (8.4 L/100 km) on the highway is expected. The 2.2 VGT CRDI diesel engine from the Santa Fe is available in Europe. And also 2.4 Theta and 2.7 Mu engines are available in South Korea. The Limited trim level adds 17 in alloy wheels, heated front seats, leather seat-upholstery, and a power sun shade in the rear window. The Ultimate Package includes an enhanced audio system with 10 speakers and a 6 CD changer, a power sunroof, powered tilt-telescopic steering wheel, and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
